A well-structured, complex, elegant and velvety wine, with intense ruby red colour. It has a warm and spicy bouquet, with a fruity aroma. In fact, it is made from dried Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and Molinara grapes, by using the thousand-year-old technique of APPASSIMENTO: after being harvested, the grapes are left to dry for three to four months, Amarone is an extremely important wine in Italian viticulture, a unique and unrepeatable symbol of the Valpolicella region.

Grape varieties: Corvina Veronese / Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara
Vinification: The grapes are picked by hand late in September under a strict selection process where only the best grapes are chosen from the vineyard 'La Coeta'. The grapes are put to dry for approx 4-5 months, followed by fermentation.
Maturation: 30 months in 'Tonneaux' - small medium toasted barrels (5 hl) in Allier oak, followed by at least 6 months in bottle.
Abv. 15,5%.
Tasting notes: A wine with a deep ruby red colour with nuances of garnet The nose is full, complex, intense, elegant and fruity with notes of dark cherries followed by vanilla, cacao and hints of black pepper. It's complex and fruity on the palate with big soft tannins, very good correspondence between nose and palate. This wine has an exceptionally long, pleasant and inviting finish. Serving suggestions: Ideal with heavy dishes such as roasted steaks or game and with matured cheeses, or alone as a pleasant finish to a great meal. Serving temperature 18-20°C.
