This fine Italian sparkling wine is obtained from a particular biotype of the luscious and perfumed Moscato Giallo grape, its vinification calls for a brief cold maceration, followed by soft pressing. After fermentation in a sealed vat, it is bottled at a low temperature. It has a straw yellow color and glints of gold, tiny but lively bubbles and a persistent mousse. Its bouquet is appealingly aromatic and fresh, with decidedly fruity notes.

This fine Italian sparkling wine is a 2010 vintage. It is soft, scented and grapey, with delicious lightness and a long lasting ‘mousse‘. Because of the quality of the fruit, the wine has a lower level of residual sugar than is usual with Prosecco, so is drier and more drinkable as a result. It is also ‘Millesimato’ which means that it has been made with grapes from one vintage, which doesn’t happen with ‘normal’ Prosecco and is therefore considered to be of higher quality.
Perfect as an aperitif, it is best served between 6-8°C.

The minimum purchase is 6 bottles of any mix of wines and orders must be in multiples of 6 e.g. 12, 18, 24, 30 etc. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. Your age will be verified. We accept card payments. We only deliver to the UK but if you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. We accept Visa and MasterCard. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone or by post. If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us immediately and we will correct the mistake. | Delivery Schedule Last order date for Christmas delivery is Tuesday 20th December 2011. Delivery is within 10 working days of receipt of order. We deliver only to addresses in mainland UK (England, Wales, Scotland) and Northern Ireland. For the avoidance of doubt, we do not deliver to the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands. In addition, our couriers do not deliver to PO Box numbers. A majority of orders are delivered on the required delivery date when specified, however delivery on any particular date is not guaranteed. Please note: Delivery to Northern Ireland involves a supplement charged by our carrier - we will notify this at the time of confirming your order Delivery times may be affected if there are stock availability problems or other unforeseen circumstances. Please note the availability shown for each product is a guide only and on rare occasions items do run out of stock. For your security, the courier's paperwork must be signed by someone 18 years old or over, either at the recipients address or a neighbouring address in order to acknowledge receipt of the Products. A Delivery Note detailing the Products supplied by Fine Italian Wine Online will be stored in one of your delivered parcel/s, and this is your proof of delivery.
